Silicone Sleeves

General: Silicone Elastomeric Extruded Sleeves are made of superior quality, world class raw material, to meet the requirements as per BS 2848 or IS | 1654. Silicone sleeves are as per TYPE 5/180 TB, fully cured and all the volatile substances are removed

Properties of Silicone Sleeves

  • 1. Elongation at break: Not less than 200% and not more thaan 450%.
  • 2. Tensile Strength: Not less than 5500 Kn/M
  • 3. Rate of Burning: Time taken to burn 25mm sleeve -0.2mm wall thickness-not less than 15 seconds.
    0.4mm wall thickness - not less than 30 seconds.
    Above 0.4mm wall thickness - not less than 45 seconds.
  • 4. Voltage Content: Not more than 1% by weight.
  • 5. Service Temperature: -60°C to 250°C.
